About Us
Hi, I’m Catrina, the founder of Little Minds Blooming. I’m a highly experienced educator, a mother of two wonderful children, a wife to a kind and supportive husband, and a lover of nature, constantly in awe of its incredible impact on our mental and physical wellbeing.
I have over 14 years of teaching and leadership experience across multiple age groups and locations, including Western Australia, Northern Territory, New South Wales, and Japan. Each place holds a special place in my heart, from the amazing people I met, the rich cultures I experienced, to the many opportunities I had to positively influence young minds around the world.
I met my husband while teaching, and it quickly became clear that we share the same values about education: to create meaningful learning experiences that nurture children to be creative, confident, and open-minded, empowering them to pursue the future they truly deserve. Our relationship grew from a shared love of teaching, nature, travel, learning about new cultures, and embracing the thrill of stepping outside our comfort zones.
In recent years, we’ve been blessed to create a family with two incredible little ones who have filled our lives with joy, laughter, and countless life lessons. They’ve reshaped what we hold dear and inspired the creation of Little Minds Blooming, a space dedicated to nurturing children’s love of learning and helping families create meaningful, memorable experiences together.
Our Why
We want children to thrive and be truly happy in their learning environments, wherever that may be. Our goal is to give families choice and confidence in their little one’s learning journey—especially during times when other options may have fallen short.
We want families to feel empowered to take the plunge, travel, and explore the world without stress. We aspire to help everyone return to the basics: building memories, deepening connections, and creating meaningful experiences with your little ones—because these moments are far too important to put on hold.
Whether you’re considering homeschooling full-time, part-time, or on the road, our programs are designed to provide learning experiences that nurture your child’s love of learning while strengthening your family bond.
So what is that we create? We create…
~ A lifestyle for families with more flexibility, balance, and connection.
~ An education that helps children truly thrive.
~ Learning that’s flexible, fluid, and possible anywhere.
~ Rich, meaningful experiences that build the foundation for lifelong learning.
~ A program that gives families confidence to guide their little one’s learning.
~ Peace of mind knowing your child is learning what matters, aligned with the Australian Curriculum and thoughtfully simplified for meaningful, essential learning.

Acknowledgement of Country
We acknowledge the Awabakal people as the traditional owners and custodians of this land upon which we work. We offer our deepest gratitude to the Awabakal elders past, present and future for being guardians of the earth and all that grows, walks and crawls on it; of the seas, streams and rivers and all that swim in them; of the air and all that flies and soars in it; and of all living things.
We thank them for sharing their dreaming stories and maintaining their spiritual connections and traditions. In doing so they continue to enrich all our lives. We acknowledge and respect that this Land always was and always will be Aboriginal Land.
